It’s a crazy world out there. How can we improve it?
As I have explored my interests through many different extracurricular activities in and out of school, I have realized that an emerging passion of mine is public service. Whether it be through learning about the workings of the government in class, competing on my school’s Mock Trial Team, serving as an Ambassador on the Mayor’s Youth Council, fostering my diplomacy skills through the U.S. State Department Youth Ambassadors Program, closely following the actions of the current government, or pursuing my passion for social justice as part of the Topol Fellowship for Peace and Non-violence, I feel I can never learn or do enough. As I have been exposed to more material through my extracurricular activities and my own research, it has only strengthened this passion of mine and reinforced my desire to pursue a career in public service.
